Membership
Currently, FAHE has over 40 Members across the Central Appalachian region. Our Members include housing authorities, community housing developers, and community action agencies with a commitment to improving their local community through housing. 
Their dedication is the foundation of FAHE’s national reputation. Membership includes benefits like access to our Unconventional and Specialty Mortgage Products, pass-thru grants, training opportunities, and a unified advocacy platform. Our exclusive relationship with each of our Members lets us act as a “personal bank” to help them achieve their goals. Our rates are competitive with those of banks with one distinct advantage: our understanding of affordable housing programs lets us underwrite from the developer’s perspective. We can provide cashflow loans for a project, operating expenses or purchasing equipment. We also offer lines of credit to our Members with a long-standing reputation and repayment history.
