Green Building Performance Compact
Goal: Double the production of units that meet a green standard in 24 months
Energy efficient building has a well-established history among FAHE and its Members. Keeping energy costs low is a responsible approach to building housing that is affordable. Unfortunately, many of the homebuyers in our region don't enjoy all the benefits and incentives of sustainable building.
Access to standards and certified inspectors is limited in Central Appalachia's rural communities. By coming together, FAHE Members are spearheading research, standardization, and innovation around green building techniques that best suit the region's unique environment.
